Psytrance festivals have their own visual language — psychedelic art, colour, movement and blacklight all become part of the experience. What you wear becomes part of it too.
Public Beta has been connected to this world from the beginning. Our festival clothing is made to be worn, mixed and styled in different ways, with fluorescent artwork and UV-reactive details that reveal another side under blacklight. From leggings and Active Tops to bikinis, board shorts, jumpsuits, tees and hoodies, there isn't one way to build a psytrance festival look.
BUILD A LOOK, NOT A UNIFORM
A festival outfit doesn't have to come as a matching set. Start with one piece you love and build around it. Mix a printed top with something simple you already own, pair leggings with a bikini or oversized tee, add a tube scarf or bag, or combine different Public Beta prints into something completely your own.
The same piece can become part of completely different looks depending on what you put around it — and it doesn't have to be Public Beta from head to toe.
ACTIVE TOP: START HERE, BUILD ANYWHERE
Our Active Top has its roots in sportswear, but it doesn't have to stay there. Wear it on its own, pair it with leggings, shorts or a skirt, layer it under a sheer top, or mix it with pieces you already have. It's a small piece that can completely change the direction of a festival outfit.
With its close fit and bold artwork, it can work as the centre of a look or as one layer within it. Under blacklight, UV-reactive designs bring another dimension to the same piece.

BIKINIS: MORE THAN SWIMWEAR
A bikini doesn't have to stay by the water. At a festival it can become a top, a base layer or part of a full look. Pair it with leggings, shorts, a sheer layer or pieces you already own.
It's one of the simplest ways to build a minimal festival look while still letting the artwork take centre stage.

LIGHTWEIGHT & SHEER
Some Public Beta pieces are made from ultra-light, semi-sheer fabrics that give the artwork a completely different character. The body, the layer underneath and the print all become part of the look.
Wear them over an Active Top or bikini, combine them with leggings or shorts, or use a sheer piece to add another layer without covering everything underneath.

LEGGINGS: THE FESTIVAL ALL-ROUNDER
Leggings are one of the most versatile pieces in a festival wardrobe. Pair them with an Active Top, bikini, tee, sleeveless top or hoodie — or with something completely outside the Public Beta collection. They give you a strong printed base to build almost any look around.
Full-length artwork also creates a completely different visual effect from a printed top or accessory. In daylight the print defines the look; under blacklight, fluorescent details can transform it again.
ONE PIECE. ZERO COMPROMISE.
Then there's the jumpsuit. No building, no matching, no halfway. One piece creates the entire silhouette and lets the artwork run across the body without interruption.
A Public Beta jumpsuit is the bold alternative to mixing and matching — a complete psytrance festival look in a single piece. Wear it exactly as it is, or change the character with accessories and layers.
One piece. Zero compromise.

MEN'S TEES: WEAR THE ART YOUR WAY
The T-shirt is still one of the easiest ways to bring psychedelic artwork into a festival look. Public Beta men's tees come in different cuts and fabrics — from classic cotton T-shirts to lightweight sports styles and sleeveless pieces.
Cotton gives the artwork the familiar feel of an everyday tee, while our sports fabric creates a lighter, more technical version of the same idea. Sleeveless styles change the silhouette again. Pair them with board shorts, trousers, leggings or whatever is already part of your own style.
Many Public Beta prints use fluorescent colours that reveal another side under UV light, connecting an everyday piece with the visual world of the blacklight dancefloor.
BOARD SHORTS: KEEP IT SIMPLE OR PUSH THE PRINT
Board shorts work just as easily as a simple base for a festival outfit as they do in a more graphic look. Pair them with a plain top, a Public Beta tee or sleeveless piece, or mix prints when you want the artwork to take over.
They're also an easy crossover between festival clothing and everyday summer wear — proof that a psytrance-inspired piece doesn't have to stay on the festival grounds.
DAY → NIGHT → UV
Blacklight is where another part of Public Beta appears. Fluorescent colours that are already part of the artwork in daylight react under UV light, changing the visual impact of the same piece without changing the outfit.
That's why UV fashion fits so naturally into psytrance culture. These are still tees, leggings, tops, bikinis, shorts and jumpsuits — but under blacklight, the artwork gets another life.
HOODIES & LAYERS
Public Beta hoodies take the artwork onto a heavier, premium piece. Wear one over a tee or Active Top, combine it with leggings or shorts, or let the hoodie become the main graphic element of an otherwise simple outfit.
Zip hoodies give you another way to play with layers, keeping the artwork underneath visible and letting different prints work together.
ACCESSORIES: SMALL PIECES, BIG DIFFERENCE
You don't need a full printed outfit to bring Public Beta into a look. Tube scarves, bags and other accessories can add one piece of psychedelic artwork to clothes you already wear.
A tube scarf can be styled in different ways around the head or neck, while a printed bag brings colour and artwork into the outfit without defining the whole look. Sometimes one detail is enough.
MAKE IT YOURS
There isn't one correct way to dress for a psytrance festival, and there shouldn't be. Go minimal with one printed piece, build a full UV-reactive look, mix Public Beta with clothes you already own, or go all in with a jumpsuit.
The connection between Public Beta and psytrance has always been about more than putting a fluorescent print on a T-shirt. It's about artwork you can wear — in daylight, on the dancefloor and under blacklight.
